This page will cover the rather scenic line from Montreal to Ottawa. While the CN line runs mostly in the province of Ontario, the CP stays on the Quebec side of the river. A mostly single track line, the line features some classic wooden CP stations.
Just north of Montreal is Ste. Therese, site of a major automobile manufacturing
plant.
A beautiful wooden depot at Ste. Therese.
Brown brick station at Lachute, PQ.
A 1950's 'modern' square box depot at Marelan. Note the old order board
post.
Calumet, PQ in old CP maroon and cream paint.
Looking much like a hunting lodge, Montebello, PQ.
Back to the square brick box at Thurso.
Located across the river from Ottawa is the the town of Hull, PQ.
